Samuel Crowell

I am an Economics PhD Candidate at Vanderbilt University with interests in financial economics and economic history. My research examines how competition shaped historic banking markets and how local labor market disruptions permeate through bank networks.

Outside of the classroom, I am an avid cyclist and hiker and have enjoyed mentoring younger students and fellow researches.
